Integrated into the new generation of multifunctional detectors with selective coverage and Bluetooth technology, the new model provides a precise solution for narrow and elongated spaces, such as those found in hotels, educational centres, offices, healthcare facilities and tertiary buildings.
The new corridor detector joins a product family developed to meet different detection needs, combining latest-generation PIR technology, digital configuration and a high degree of adaptability to the characteristics of each installation.
A solution specifically designed for corridors
The new DM TEC PAX corridor detector, in addition to being an eco-designed product, is designed for recessed ceiling installation and provides longitudinal coverage of up to 22 x 4 metres at a mounting height of 2.5 metres, making it particularly suitable for narrow and elongated passageways.
Its main distinguishing feature is its selective coverage, which allows the detection zones to be adjusted independently thanks to its two PIR sensors. This makes it possible to adapt the detector's operating area to the actual requirements of the space and prevent unnecessary detection in areas that are not intended to be controlled.
This functionality is particularly useful in corridors, where excessive coverage can cause activations when a person is outside the area that needs to be controlled. The ability to select and adjust the detection areas enables more precise and efficient operation.
The new model is available in three finishes: white, black and grey, making it easy to integrate aesthetically into different types of projects.
Smartphone configuration
The new generation of DINUY detectors incorporates Bluetooth connectivity, allowing configuration and commissioning to be carried out directly from a smartphone using the DINUY Configure app.
The app allows users to view and modify the detector's main parameters intuitively, replacing traditional manual adjustment systems and making the installer's work easier.
In the case of selective coverage, the app allows the different detection areas to be viewed and the sensitivity of each PIR sensor to be adjusted individually. Specific zones can even be deactivated when the characteristics of the space require it. This feature is particularly useful for preventing false detections caused, for example, by passageways that should not form part of the detection area.
Digital configuration also provides greater flexibility, as the parameters can be modified at a later stage without having to remove the detector or physically access its adjustment elements.
