DINUY expands its KNX range with new coin or token timers

DINUY presents its new KNX Time Counters for coins or tokens, available starting today under the references CT KNT 02M (coins) and CT KNT 02F (tokens). A new solution designed to easily, safely, and efficiently integrate service timing within KNX installations.

Thanks to these new devices, it is possible to intelligently manage timed services such as lighting, showers, or various electrical consumptions using the KNX standard, providing greater energy control and a more convenient and automated user experience.

One of the major added values ??of these new counters is that they operate at low voltage (24 V), making them a particularly suitable solution for humid environments such as changing rooms, campsites, or sports facilities, eliminating the need for 230 V equipment in areas where electrical safety is a priority.

Combining KNX Time Counters with other DINUY devices, such as KNX On/Off Actuators, allows for the creation of complete and fully integrated solutions within a KNX home automation system. This way, everyday functions like timed lighting activation in sports fields or the control of solenoid valves in showers can coexist within a comprehensive system alongside other functionalities such as climate control, blinds, and lighting control.

Once configured using the ETS® software, operation is very intuitive for the end user, who simply needs to insert the set number of coins or tokens to activate the corresponding service. Key features of the new DINUY KNX Time Counters include:

• Configurable number of coins or tokens required to activate the timed service

• Integrated display showing remaining coins or available time

• Pre-warning function before service ends

• Configuration of a second rate based on specific dates, days, or times

• Manual selector to pause the timer

• Secure metal enclosure with lock

With this launch, DINUY continues to expand its catalog of smart solutions for residential and commercial buildings, offering products focused on energy efficiency, security, and advanced integration within the KNX ecosystem.
